<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve time consuming problems that H. 264 type encoded TS data are decoded into frame data, the frame information is acquired to search reproduction positions at a minimum video decoding unit, and as a result, time and computer resources are necessary for generating a time chart when a time chart is created to randomly access stream-distributed video. <P>SOLUTION: Technologies to search a beginning point at the minimum video decoding unit without decoding H. 264 type encoded TS data are provided. Specifically, assuming the minimum video decoding unit includes one SPS, an electronic device 0300 has functions which determine an AU delimiter preceding the SPS as a boundary of the minimum video decoding unit and calculate head time information on the AU delimiter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
