<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroconductive fiber which maintains the total electroconductive fiber resistance at a high value, has a low specific resistance of an outer layer portion of the electroconductive fiber, thereby improving the polarity inversion rate of a toner to adjust the electric charge amount of the toner, and little causes a trouble such as leakage, and to provide an electroconductive brush using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This electroconductive fiber includes a core portion being a non-conductive layer and an outer layer portion being a conductive layer, and has a fineness within the range of 0.3 dT-30 dT, a total fiber resistance value within the range of 1×10<SP>9</SP>to 1×10<SP>12</SP>Ω per 10 mm filament, and a specific resistance of an electroconductive layer within the range of 0.1-250 Ω cm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
