<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and properly manage a printer by storing a management file indicating information for managing a printer, by directory constitution easy to be managed and easy to be browsed. <P>SOLUTION: This printing system 10 is provided with the printer 12, and an HDD 16 of a storage device, the HDD 16 is prepared with the first directory indicating a maker name of the printer 12, the second directory, that is a sub-directory of the first directory, indicating a printer name of the printer 12, and the third directory, that is a sub-directory of the second directory, indicating a printer number for identifying each of the plurality of printers 12 having the same printer name, and the HDD 16 stores the management file indicating the information used for managing the printer 12, and stores at least management file indicating printer-intrinsic information that is management information intrinsic to the printer 12, into the third directory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
