PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable significantly improving working efficiency by removing an intermediate layer very simply. SOLUTION: This optical fiber cable 10 includes: a plurality of optical fibers 12, slots 11 having an optical fiber storing groove 17 storing the optical fiber 12, respectively, the intermediate layer 14 wound on the slots 11 storing the optical fibers 12 in the optical fiber storing grooves 17, and a sheath 15 molded on the intermediate layer 14. The intermediate layer 14 is deteriorated in strength so that it can be cut by force of fingers when disassembling the optical fiber cable 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
