PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of suppressing the noise caused by a cooling fan when at least a part of one surface of an apparatus body is exposed by a movable portion. SOLUTION: The multifunction electronic apparatus 1 includes the apparatus body 2, an operation display unit, the cooling fan 6, a detector 5, and an MPU 8. The operation display unit is disposed with free movement driven by a motor 22 of a driving mechanism 4 between a first position where the operation display unit overlaps the front 10a of the apparatus body 2 and a second position where a lower-end portion 3b projects from the front 10a more than at the first position. The cooling fan 6 is provided in the apparatus body 2 and sucks outside air into the apparatus body 2 from the front 10a. The detector 5 detects the relative position of the operation display unit 3 to the apparatus body 2. In accordance with the position of the operation display unit 3 that the detector 5 detects, the MPU 8 making the rotating speed of the cooling fan lower when the operation display unit is disposed at the second position than when at the first position.
