PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized compressor, in particular, to provide the most suitable electric element for a small-sized compression element by miniaturizing the electric element of the compressor. SOLUTION: A rotary compressor C (compressor) has the electric element 5 and a rotary compression element 8 (compression element) driven by a rotary shaft 6 of the electric element 5 stored in a hermetic vessel 1. The electric element 5 includes a stator 30 having a plurality of coreless stator windings 34 wound and fixed in cylindrical shapes beforehand arranged on an inner surface of the cylindrical yoke 32 at even intervals, and a rotor 35 including a permanent magnet MG attached at an outer circumference side of the rotary shaft 6 rotating around the stator 30. The rotary compression element 8 (compression element) is disposed at one side of the hermetic vessel 1, an electric terminal 22 having wiring connected to the stator windings 34 connected thereon is disposed at the other side of the hermetic vessel 1, and the stator windings 34 are excited by the electric terminal 22.
