PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bank fall prevention method for ensuring fall prevention effect of a surface layer of a bank over a long time by employing a simple method. SOLUTION: The bank fall prevention method is provided for preventing fall of the slope surface layer of the bank by using a plurality of anchors set on the bank and a plurality of pressure receiving plates each connected to a proximal end of the anchor. The method is composed of a step of penetrating the anchors into the bank and settling the same to the ground, and a step of tightly clamping the pressure receiving plates set at the proximal end of the anchors to harmonize the pressure receiving plates with the natural ground. Thus the pressure receiving plates each having obtained reaction from the anchor, function to wait for deformation of clod of the bank slope surface layer and to support the same.
