摘要 The present invention relates to a method and a device for evaluating at least one surface, having the following method steps: illumination of the surface to be investigated, depiction of at least a part of the light reflected and/or refracted from the surface onto a spatially resolved receiver, and the production of an image, wherein both geometric coordinates and color coordinates are assigned to each image point. The invention is characterized in that a plurality of associated sub-areas is imaged, the sub-areas lying inside the image, that from the image points of each sub-area, a weighted lightness value and at least one weighted color value is generated, the plurality of weighted lightness values are each compared to a reference lightness value of a color control model, and each weighted color value is compared to a reference color value of a color control model, from which a lightness deviation (?Y) and at least one color deviation (?l, ?Q) are determined for each sub-area, and the determined lightness deviation (?Y) and/or the at least one determined color deviation (?l, ?Q) of each sub-area is compared to a prespecified first threshold value.
