MECHANISM OF ACTION : Calcitonin gene-related peptide antagonist. The ability of (I) to inhibit calcitonin gene-related peptide was tested using SK-N-MC cell. The results showed that 5-(6-(indolin-1-carbonyl)pyrimidin-4-ylamino)-1,3-dihydrospiro[inden-2,3'-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin]-2'(1'H)-one exhibited an inhibitory constant value of 15 nM.
