ELBOW JOINT OSSIFICATE SURGERY TECHNIQUE

FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to traumatology and orthopaedics and can be used in treatment of patients suffering from elbow joint dysfunction caused by heterotopic ossification. The surgery starts with the vertical Kocher incision with additional second approach on the internal surface of joint anteriad from internal epicondyle of humerus along projection of ulnar nerve from distal one-third of shoulder to its branching. Ulnar nerve is separated from cicatrices and ossificates, and held. Brachial artery and median nerve are separated while being shielded with elevators. Ossificate and its capsule are removed from two approaches. It is combined with synovcapsulectomy of the joint. Ulnar nerve is transferred to bed of brachial artery and median nerve. ^ EFFECT: method allows for more complete restoration of elbow movements on a patient plate herewith avoiding recurrent ossification. ^ 2 dwg, 1 ex
