Method for manufacturing floor panels, whereby such floor panels (1) are of the type comprising at least a substrate (13), as well as a decor (10), and a top layer (11) on the basis of synthetic material (12), characterized in that the floor panels (1), or at least the boards (33) of which the floor panels (1) are manufactured, are provided with a final relief in at least two press treatments, namely, a first press treatment, whereby a relief is performed in the surface of the floor panels (1) or boards (33) that substantially consists of embossments (29) extending substantially exclusively in the top layer (11) of synthetic material (12), and a second press treatment, whereby subsequently embossed portions (19-20) are performed in the floor panels (1) or boards (33), which continue up into the aforementioned substrate (13). |
