Here is disclosed an apparatus comprising a first rotary disc 21, a plurality of folding plates 22 mounted on a peripheral zone 21a of the first rotary disc 21, a plurality of positive motion cams 23 mounted on the peripheral zone 21a of the first rotary disc 21 so as to be interposed between the first rotary disc 21 and the folding plates 22, a second rotary disc 44 located on a side opposite to the first rotary disc 21 and a plurality of auxiliary plates 52 mounted on a peripheral zone 44a of the second rotary disc 44, wherein the folding plates 22 and the auxiliary plates 52 synchronously move into a contiguous diaper structure 70 and simultaneously the guide arms 32 move into a clearance between the guide blades 54 so that opposite lateral zones 72a of a crotch region 72 may be held between the guide arms 32 and the guide blades 54 and thereby the crotch region 72 may be tucked into the contiguous diaper structure 70.
