FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, particularly to out-furnace treatment of metallurgical melts. Wire consists of steel shell and filler, relation between which is chosen accordingly 20-55 and 45-80 wt %, and filler corresponds mechanical mixture of calcium and iron in correlation accordingly 25-45 and 55-75 wt %. Iron in filler is introduced in the form of mechanical mixture of iron powder and steel and/or iron shot, and/or steel granules, and/or steel chopping knife in correlation, wt % correspondingly: iron powder - 30-70, iron shot, and/or steel, and/or steel granules, and/or steel chopping knife - 70-30. Filler contains additional component in the form of rare-earth metals or barium, content of which is, wt %: 0.1-5.0 of iron content in filler. ^ EFFECT: increasing of technological effectiveness of wire ensured by reduction of introduction time of wire into melt, reduction of wire consumption, energy saving for manufacturing of metallurgical melt, increase of labour productivity of out-furnace aggregates. ^ 3 cl |
