FIELD: electrical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to thermal-electric installations, particularly to electrical heating elements. To increase efficiency of the heating element by reducing its size, the heating element is made in form of a rod or pipe, the length of the working part of which is bordered by radial and axial grooves up to a jumper on the butt end. Perpendicular the axial groove, there is a second axial groove, one part of which splits the heating element up to the jumper on the radial groove, and the other part - on the whole length.
