FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to chemical-pharmaceutical industry and concerns development of mexiprim agent (2 ethyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxypyridine succinate) for curing the skin diseases, particularly eczema and senile pruritus. Skin diseases treatment agent contains mexiprim (2 ethyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxypyridine succinate) as an active material and additionally sepygel 305, merytole 312, hermabene 11, cathone CG, glycerine and water in specified ratio. The agent represents gel to be used in curing eczema and senile pruritus as applied on affected areas twice a day within three, four weeks. In all cases of senile pruritus and eczema, considerable relief of itching, reduced skin dryness, absence of excoriation (destruction and removal of epidermic tissue, skin defect resulted from scratching), lower peeling are observed. ^ EFFECT: by-effects are not found. ^ 3 cl |
