<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that strengthens expectation of an increase in ready-to-win lines and maintains a player's heightened interest for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: This game machine 10 has a pattern display means 21 capable of displaying two or more ready-to-win lines in a display area H by a plurality of kinds of patterns and shielding means 25a, 26a, 29a and 31 shielding at least a part of the display area H. The pattern display means 21 can display the ready-to-win lines in a manner that increases them in stages in a prescribed direction. The shielding means 25a, 26a, 29a and 31 do not carry out shielding before the ready-to-win lines are displayed.
