FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to cardiology, particularly to prediction of clinical course of chronic cardiac insufficiency. The method is ensured by evaluating whole blood samples for CD133+-cells thereafter analysed for colony-formation ability when cultivated in vitro. Risk of unfavourable outcome, including early death and/or hospitalisation is highest, if examination of the patient suffering from chronic cardiac insufficiency shows representation of CD133+-cells in whole blood is 1ù105/l or less, while colony-formation units are total 2/mm2 or less. The favourable outcome is predicted, if representation of CD133+-cells in whole blood is 1ù105/l or more and number of colony-formation units is 2/mm2 or more. ^ EFFECT: application of the invention allows for high-reliable prediction of unfavourable clinical course of chronic cardiac insufficiency. ^ 5 tbl, 4 ex |
