The device (1) has a support surface (2) provided on an end section of a plastic tube (5), and a fastening surface (6) for fastening a region of the end section to the device. A movable handling body (10) is provided above the support surface for handling of the end section. The handling body is movable in a longitudinal direction (L) of the plastic tube than in a direction (R) opposite to the support surface, where the direction (R) stands perpendicular to the support surface. The handling body includes a roller rotating around a rotational axis (X).
