The present invention refers to a method, an apparatus and a computer program product for trigger routing in a distributed mobile intelligent network service environment, wherein subscriber data comprising a subscription information data set are provided (S2), an availability of a service capability feature address in the subscription information data set is determined (S3), a mobile switching center address is mapped to an area identifier, if no service capability feature address is available (S4), the area identifier is mapped to a destination address (S5), the destination address is inserted into the subscriber information data set (S6) and an IN-trigger is setup towards the destination address (S7).
