PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technically easy method of making a sterilized bag in which no bactericide or the like remains in the packaging bag for packaging foodstuffs or pharmaceuticals, and in which no deterioration of a packaging material or no generation of an offensive odor is caused due to the bactericidal treatment of the packaging material. SOLUTION: In this method of making a bag from a packaging material, both faces of a packaging material 1 composed of a single substance of either one of a plastic film, paper or a metallic foil, or a laminate 20 formed by a combination of the respective substances, and a sealant layer 10 having heat sealability and laminated thereon, are intermittently irradiated with a beam having a wavelength of 200-1,100 nm and after-heat-sealed. An irradiation hour of intermittent irradiation for one time is 0.000001-0.002 second, and a quantity of cumulative irradiation energy is controlled to 0.1-12.0 J/cm2. |
