The method involves searching a memory associated to a device (D1) in a memory of a chip card (3a) and delivering a preamble of the device comprising an informative data e.g. name, based on the reading of data recorded in the memory of the device. A memory associated to a content directory service (S1D1) is searched in another memory associated to a device. Preamble of a service comprising the data relative to the service is delivered based on the reading of another data recorded in the memory associated to the service. Postamble of the service and postamble of the device are delivered. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electronic communicating object within a network for implementing a method for supplying descriptor of services of object (2) comprising a memory (3) a method for installing a device in an electronic communicating object.
