<p>A handover method for mobile communication, a system and a base station thereof are disclosed, which method comprises the steps of: based on the existing first link bearing only the DCH service, adding the second link bearing the DCH and E-DCH service; performing the softer combination of the said first link and second link; and notifying the radio network controller by carrying the said DCH softer combination information not located at the same diversity indication selection field on the RADIO LINK ADDITION RESPONSE message and adding the E-DCH service information. With the invention, the success rate of performing the mobile communication handover could be improved, and the communication service could be maintained continuously.</p> |
