A process for the preparation of 1-methyl-5-aryl-2-esters includes the arylation of heterocyclic compound with arenediazonium chlorides in the presence of the СuСl2НО catalyst in the water-acetone medium. The methyl (1-methyl-2-pyrrole) carboxylate is used as heterocyclic compound. The reaction is carried out in the presence of the added equimolar quantity of the magnesium oxide, and esters are prepared of general formula,wherein R = H, halogen, NO, CH, CHO, CF. |
