Straightening-tension installation

The invention relates to the equipment for metallurgical production and can be used for production of rolled sheet material. A straightening-tension installation contains a dressing machine for straightening the strip, which is stretched between pulling and braking devices with electric drives. The braking device is equipped with sensors of measurement of tension force of the strip, and electric drives on the base of induction motors are connected to frequency converters, which are connected with devices for recovery of electric power and a programmed controller connected with the sensors of the measurement of tension force by a feedback. The invention ensures increased quality of straightening the strip, energy conservation.
