<p>Disclosed is a solid electrolytic capacitor which is obtained by laminating plate-like solid electrolytic capacitor elements. Cathode portions of some solid electrolytic capacitor elements and cathode portions of the other solid electrolytic capacitor elements are drawn out so as to face each other and respectively connected to a first or second cathode lead frame which are independent from each other. These two groups of cathode portions are electrically insulated from each other in the solid electrolytic capacitor.</p>
