A board (10) is for use as an aid in forming trays for use as a box base or box lid. The working surface (12) supports a sheet of material, such as paper, having an outline (14). Grooves (16) in the board (10) define lines for scoring the sheet (14) to form fold lines. In one example, grooves are provided for forming trays of slightly different sizes, to act as a base and a lid for a box.
