<p>Provided is an imaging device having improved SN ratio and image qualities without increasing a chip area and manufacturing cost. The imaging device is provided with a pixel array, a signal generating section for generating a first signal which changes by a prescribed pattern; a first transistor which amplifies a second signal read out from the first signal and the pixel; and a conversion circuit which converts the second signal read out from the first transistor into a digital signal. The conversion circuit compares a third signal provided by amplifying the first signal by the first transistor with a fourth signal provided by amplifying the second signal by the first transistor, measures a time required for having the third signal and the fourth signal, which change corresponding to the prescribed pattern, accord with each other, and converts the second signal into the digital signal.</p> |
