Skin care preparations which exert an effect of modifying skin wrinkles and bags by application and which are free from stickiness in use and from uncomfortable feelings in use such as a feeling that the preparations twist or grate on the skin. The skin care preparations contain an aqueous solution or dispersion of an anionic or amphoteric urethane resin prepared by dissolving or dispersing in water an anionic or amphoteric urethane resin obtained by reacting (a) an isocyanate compound with (b) a polyol component which comprises the following compounds (b-1) to (b-3) or (b-1) to (b-4)and which has a (b-1)/(b-2) mass ratio of 0.15 to 3.0 (in terms of charge): [(b-1): cyclohexanedimethanol, (b-2) polypropylene glycol having a molecular weight of 1000 to 3000, (b-3): a compound having active hydrogen and carboxyl in one molecule, and (b-4): a compound having active hydrogen and tertiary amino in one molecule].
