Composition for coloring human keratin fibers, comprises one or more direct dye and one or more cationic polysaccharide obtained by a part of polygalactomannan containing mannose in main chain and galactose in side chain, in which the molar ratio of mannose to galactose is less than 1.5 and containing an quaternary ammonium group (I), in a medium.
