According to said method, a sulfinate (III) is prepared, the sulfinate (III) is transformed into sulfonyl fluoride (II) by reaction with a fluorination agent, and the sulfonyl (II) fluoride is then transformed into sulfonate (I) by reaction with a hydroxide.
