The accessory such as a box and a pincer useful in an enclosure of a household electrical apparatus such as a freezer for the preservation of food, comprises a thermochromic material having an initial color, a predetermined threshold temperature (-21[deg] C), a capacity for changing the color in function of rise of temperature and hysteresis properties following the evolution of temperature. The thermochromic material includes two threshold temperatures (T 1, T 2) higher than the predetermined threshold temperature, where T 1is -9[deg] C and T 2is -1[deg] C.
