A current pilot symbol pattern is used in a radio transmission from a network entity (31 ) to a terminal (32) in a radio communication network. Then, a change request (43) of pilot symbol pattern is sent from the terminal to the network entity; and a next pilot symbol pattern is used in said radio transmission.
