<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater capable of efficiently heating the water without increasing manufacturing costs and a size of a device. <P>SOLUTION: In this heat pump water heater which comprises a compressor receiving portion 111 composed of a housing exterior portion 32 dividing a partitioning portion 27 defining an air distribution circuit for distributing the air to an evaporator 24 and the outside air, and a hot water supply heat exchanger 22, and in which at least a part of a water inflow pipe 22a as a flow channel of the water flowing into the hot water supply heat exchanger 22, is disposed in a space of the compressor receiving portion 111, and heat is exchanged between the water inflow pipe 22a and the air in the compressor receiving portion 111, the heat leaked from the compressor and a high-temperature portion of the refrigerant pipe can be collected by the rise of inflow water through a pipe wall of the water inflow pipe in which the water of comparatively low temperature flows. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
