PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver equipped with a scan function, which can automatically switch to a channel list corresponding to the current position. SOLUTION: When an input device 12 inputs a scan instruction, the digital broadcast receiver 1 performs scan processing, detects a receivable broadcasting station to create a channel list, makes the created channel list correspond to position information of a place where the channel list is created and stores the created channel list into a channel list storing part 22. Further, the digital broadcast receiver 1 performs channel list display control processing during receiving the digital broadcast, reads a channel list corresponding to the current position detected by a current position detecting part 18 and displays the channel list in a display device 16.
