PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic thin film transistor by which electric characteristics high in homogeneity can be obtained without strictly controlling manufacturing conditions. SOLUTION: (1) Disclosed is a manufacturing method of an organic thin film transistor of the claim (1) including a process of coating an organic semiconductor film with a solvent having solubility for an organic semiconductor. (2) Disclosed is a manufacturing method of an organic thin film transistor of the claim (1) so that an organic semiconductor film has an orientation region. (3) Disclosed is a manufacturing method of an organic thin film transistor of the claim (1) or (2) so that a solvent having solubility for the organic semiconductor contains the same kind of or a different kind of an organic semiconductor as the organic semiconductor as a solute.
