<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power switching device, which does not pose the problem that power is supplied to a load from neither a commercial power source nor a battery pack, at power failure or fault of a controller, in a switcher, which switches inputted power prior to output, and a power system using it. <P>SOLUTION: The commercial power source 1 and an output rend 2 are connected further via a switch 7 to the switcher 6 which connects both of the commercial power source 1 and an inverter 5 in parallel via switching elements 13a and 13b, and 13c and 13d, respectively, prior to output. Usually, the switch 7 is open, so the power of either the commercial power source 1 or the inverter 6 is outputted from the switcher 6 to the output end 2, but the commercial power source 1 is connected to the output end 2 by closing the switch 7 when the switcher 6 cannot output power due to power failure or fault of the controller within the switcher 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
