<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system, relating to power plant block loading in general, and for coordinating combined cycle power plant block loading in detail. <P>SOLUTION: Block loading may occur during a process of restoring an electrical grid after a blackout. The method and system for coordinating the loading of a combined cycle power plant to support block loading is provided. The power plant may include a gas turbine 105 and a steam turbine 145.
