PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water level regulating valve capable of being opened/closed while decreasing water pressure by a simple structure, preventing occurrence of water hammer, and having excellent durability. SOLUTION: A flow rate control member 26 abutting on a valve element 17 moving in a valve closing direction before a valve seat 14, and moved or deformed according to the movement of the valve element in the valve closing direction after abutting so that the valve seat 14 and the valve element 17 are brought in tight contact with each other, is provided on the inner peripheral side or the outer peripheral side of the valve seat 14 in the water level regulating valve 10 opened/closed by moving up and down a float 15. A water flowing part 26c allowing water to flow at a low flow rate in comparison with the case when the valve is opened is formed in the abutting part of the flow rate control member 26 on the valve element 17.
