PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed reduction gear preventing vibration generated from a speed reduction mechanism, eliminating rotation irregularities due to additional fluctuation, and increasing a reduction gear ratio without increasing a size. SOLUTION: This speed reduction gear includes: a plurality of planetary rollers (4) rotatably supported by a carrier (2) fixedly supported at the shaft end of an input shaft (1); an output cup (7) rotatably supported inside of a housing (5); and a fixed cup (8) fixedly supported inside of the housing (5) and having an inside diameter larger than the outside diameter of the output cup. With the outermost diameter of the planetary rollers (4) formed larger than the inside diameter of the cylindrical part of the output cup (7) when the plurality of planetary rollers (4) supported at the shaft end of the input shaft is assembled, the plurality of planetary rollers (4) is press-fitted into the cylindrical inside of the output cup (7), thereby the peripheral part of the shaft end of the output cup (7) is elliptically swollen, and further, with the outermost diameter of the swollen part formed larger than the inside diameter of the cylindrical part in the free state of the fixed cup (8), the output cup is brought into contact with the cylindrical inside of the fixed cup (8) with pressing force.
