<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplicate application determination system and its method for determining duplicate application via a network. <P>SOLUTION: A server 18 receives application information from a plurality of clients 12 via a network 14, stores them in a database 16 for each data aggregate, retrieves from among the data aggregate stored in the database 16 an address information field which is included in the application information received from an accessing client 12 and has a numerical sequence for specifying a subordinate address section when there is a post code and house number for specifying a superordinate address section of the prefectures and municipalities, counts the matching number of address information fields or data aggregates from the result of retrieval, determines that it is duplicate application when the result of counting exceeds a prescribed threshold, and sends back the result of determination to the accessing client 12a via the network 14 when it is determined that application information is the duplicate application. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
