<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder apparatus in which a user can use simply and efficiently plural functions which can be performed simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: Recorder apparatus records material input from a camera 1 to an input interface 28, in a memory pack 6 constituted of randomly accessible semiconductor memories or in a built-in memory 7, and a video play section 24 reproduces the recorded material. An apparatus control section 21, simultaneously, executes a plurality of these video processing functions in parallel. A display control section 22 displays indexes, to which a plurality of functions that are subjected to multitask control by the apparatus control section 21 are respectively allocated and a processing state of a function selected by the indexes on a display section 4.
