TRANSMISSION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE FOR SPATIAL MULTIPLEX TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a transmission mode by beforehand estimating a signal quality obtained being affected by the temporal variation transmission in order to prevent a large error in information at the receiving side.

SOLUTION: A channel information acquisition circuit 105 estimates the channel information corresponding to other communication party based on the received signal. A channel information storing circuit 109 stores acquired channel information. A temporal variation evaluation circuit 110 compares the acquired channel information with the channel information stored in the channel information storing circuit 109 to estimate a communication quality deterioration amount owing to time variation. A transmission mode determination circuit 108 estimates the communication quality of the data stream at the time of communication from a coding method and communication quality of the data stream from a transmission coding method determination circuit 107, a channel temporal variation characteristic from the time variation evaluation circuit 110, and a delay time between the time of channel estimation and the time of transmission to determine the transmission mode.
