<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a width size of a space which a USB cable system must occupy in order to connect to computer related equipment the USB cable system using a USB connector removably fitted to a USB port of the computer related equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The USB connector 20 includes a plug 28 removably fitted to the USB port (not shown), a first part housing 30 for holding the plug, and a second part housing 32 which is separated from the first part housing and holds a part just behind which is extended from the plug, and mutually rotatably links the first and the second part housings on one plane. Moreover, when a relative rotary angle is a predetermined angle between the first and second part housings, detent mechanisms 74 and 76 for maintaining the relative angle of rotation are provided regardless of restorability of the USB cable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
