PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner allowing a user in a standing state to take out a dust containing box without taking out a front panel, and to easily take out the dust containing box without impairing the design of the air conditioner. SOLUTION: By gripping a knob 6 of an air conditioner body 1 and opening a container lid 7, locking by a locking part 8 is released to allow a dust container 9 to jump up outwardly. This is because a bottom face of the dust container 9 is energized by an elastic body (not shown). Such a configuration allows the user to take out the dust container 9 to the outside by gripping a grip 10 of the dust container 9 and drawing it out outwardly in the standing state.
