PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-definition organic EL (electro-luminescent) display device which is improved in utilization factor inside a pixel. SOLUTION: In the organic EL display device in which pixels are constituted by organic El elements are arranged in a matrix form, the pixels include a pixel circuit which is configured to control an electric current supplied to the organic El element; the pixel circuit includes a capacitance; and the capacitance is arranged on a boundary of the pixels arranged adjacent to each other in a vertical directions of the pixels. Furthermore, one electrode which constitutes the capacitance is used in common by the pixels arranged adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction, and the other electrode which constitutes the capacitance is separated between the pixels arranged adjacent to each other in the vertical directions.
