PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress decrease in the amount of current that flows through a coil when increasing the number of turns of the coil. SOLUTION: The present invention is provided with a fixing belt that generates heat by electromagnetic induction heating, and an exciting coil that generates an AC magnetic field that intersects with a conductive layer formed on the fixing belt. The exciting coil is configured in such a manner where a plurality of lead wires each having a cross-sectional shape consisting of a congruent polygon figures are bundled and the bundled wires are wound in a closed-loop form.
