PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet system to generate background sound of music or the like when detecting conversation on a portable telephone in a toilet room in receiving or making a call. SOLUTION: The portable telephone 100 is composed of a portable telephone control part 101 to execute the function of the portable telephone such as receiving and making a call, a conversation monitoring part 102 to monitor start, continuity, and end of conversation, a Blue Tooth part 104, and a background sound control part 103 to instruct start and end of regeneration of background sound to a toilet room device. The toilet room device 110 is installed in a toilet room, and it is composed of a toilet room control part 111 to determine whether or not the Blue Tooth part 113 and the portable telephone 100 are present, and execute instruction from the portable telephone 100, a background sound storage part 114 storing background sound, and a background sound generating part 112 to read data of background sound from a background sound storage part 114 based on the instruction from the toilet room control part 111 to be converted into sound/voice signals to be outputted from a speaker 115.
