PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gaming machine which prevents lowered interests in games by reducing a burden on players pertaining to the confirmation of the progressive amount of payout concerning a type which can award the progressive amount of payout by making a scroll display and reposition of symbols. SOLUTION: When receiving bets of game values, a slot machine 1 updates bonus payout data based on the game values betted (S21) and draws bonus payout represented by the respective payout data updated on corresponding bonus symbols 50 (S24). The slot machine 1 carries out the scroll display and the reposition of the symbols on a variable display part 3B using reel bands containing the bonus symbols 50 keeping the bonus payout drawn on them (S14 and S15). When the bonus requirements based on the bonus symbols 50 are established on the variable display part 3B, the slot machine 1 pays out the bonus payout corresponding to the respective bonus requirements (S19).
