PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation support apparatus capable of displaying a hardware image imitating an operation part on a monitor screen and performing display so as to identify what is an operation item to be operated next during the operation training of a medical apparatus. SOLUTION: The operation support apparatus includes: an operation part provided with a plurality of operation members and capable of controlling the medical apparatus in response to the operation of the operation members; a display part capable of displaying an image photographed in the medical apparatus; a hardware image generation part for displaying the hardware image imitating the operation part at the display part in response to the start of the operation training of the medical apparatus; and a control part for recognizing the operation item to be operated next when one of the operation members is operated during the operation training, and guiding and displaying the operation member to be operated next in the hardware image.
