PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of specifying easily attributes of a person concerned with a face image in a picked-up image. SOLUTION: A face detecting part 101 detects face image data from picked-up image data, during image pick-up by an imaging device 1, and a face recognition part 102 finds similarity between it and registered face image data registered preliminarily in a face registration memory 56. Then, a person corresponding to registered face image data is specified based on the similarity, and meta-data such as a name associated therewith is displayed in association with the face image, during reproduction.
